Hi All,
Time goes by fast, and before you know it, we are already at the end of another wonderful year. Time goes by when you are not noticing or managing it. Hours into days, days in weeks, weeks into months and very soon, months into years. Assuming 52 weeks a year, and we live to a ripe old age of 80, we would have 4,160 weeks on this planet. Not that many when you think about it.
The sun rises and set, irrespective of how we live the day. So why not live it better, bigger and happier. Live everyday like it’s the best day of your life; full of vigour, enthusiasm and joy, and go to bed every night with a smile on your face 😉 When we encounter challenges in life, take it in perspective, learn to count our blessings. For every curve ball life throws at you, you can almost be assured, life also serve you home runs. Someone I met not too long ago, had this attitude to life, which I thought was a good way to live; no regrets of yesterday, enjoy today and have no fear of tomorrow.
Recently met a gentlemen who spent more than 30 years of his life with Hewlett Packard, and he was wondering just how quickly it went. But, he had a whale of a time while with the company. Made a difference, learnt a few things and brought up a wonderful family. Bless the man.
With the festive seasons just round the corner, suggest we take a few deep breath, recount how year went by; reminisce the good times, learn from the pitfalls, bury the hatches, and yes, count your blessings.
Want to take this opportunity to wish you and your love ones a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. Till we see you at the next HP Alumni event, take care.
