A message from Walter Lee, Secretary of the Alumni:
Year end Bash!
The HPA Annual Gala Dinner is coming up soon and I look forward to catching up with ‘old’ friends or maybe I should say good friends instead?
That wine gets better when it is aged properly should apply to people too. I think building more facilities for the aged is not just a good idea but a great one.
Everyone ages. We should age gracefully most certainly.
I am reminded of the movie ‘In Time’ whereby everybody is aged ’25’, never grow older but has to earn every second of their lives.
Yet modern society tends to mirror the movie in their twisted value where the price tag of a worth of a human life is tied only to their economic value.
So come this Gala dinner, I am looking forward to meet ‘old’ and good friends!
